森を最大限に活用できるよう､整備･ﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝしている内田　塁さん｡日本では国土の約3分の2を森林が占め､近年は増加傾向にある荒廃した放置林の整備･管理が求められています｡内田さんは｢森を森のまま最大限に生かすこと｣をｺﾝｾﾌﾟﾄに､必要最低限の整備で､子どもも大人も楽しめるｱｸﾃｨﾋﾞﾃｨ施設へと生まれ変わらせています｡この取り組みを通して､森林の大切さを多くの人に伝えたいと語る内田さんの思い描く未来とは?

Mr. Rui Uchida performs maintenance and design work to enable people to get the most out of forests. Forests cover approximately two-thirds of Japan, and in recent years there has been a growing need to develop and manage abandoned and overgrown forests. Mr. Uchida does no more than is necessary for the maintenance of forests with the concept of “making the most of forests with forests as they are”, transforming forests into places where both children and adults can enjoy activities. Through this initiative, Mr. Uchida says that he wants to convey the importance of forests to more and more people. What kind of future does he envision?
